Night of Worship – 9/13 at 7:30pm

by mercychurch

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

(Colossians 3:16-17)
Tomorrow night Mercy Church will gather together for a night of worship. Being the exact anniversary of our launch day, we have so much to be thankful for. We have seen God’s faithfulness time and again in the past year – which we’ll dive into even more this coming Sunday. And in the midst of God’s blindingly great provision, we will celebrate God’s faithful love for us in Christ. We’ll celebrate the gospel by rehearsing it through song, Scripture, and prayer. I’ve been excited for this night for a long time, not because a Tuesday evening is any more special than a Sunday morning, but because each and every time the people of God come together to recall to each other the truths of the gospel, to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly, our faith in the one true God finds its source and its encouragement! (Rom. 1:17)
So come tomorrow ready to sing, ready to pray, ready to give thanks to our faithful Father through his gracious Son.  See you at 7:30pm at the Levine Center!
Please note: There will not be Mercy Kids programming at this event. We encourage you to bring your whole family to worship together!
