I Am Going – Missions Night April 11 @ 7pm

by Spence Shelton

Each week we conclude our worship gathering at Mercy Church with a quick reflection on how whatever we’ve focused on together is something we can take out into the world with us. You may have noticed the very last thing we say is “you are sent“. That is our reminder to one another that the gospel is never intended to stay just with us. Jesus told his disciples to take the great hope of the gospel all the way to the ends of the earth and each generation of believers has sought to advance that mission for the past 2000 years.
This is our time. With the joy and power the gospel gives us, Mercy is committed to taking the gospel to people groups who have never heard it. We want you to say I am going. To help us get started, we are holding a Missions Night on Monday April 11 at 7pm (childcare will be provided for ages 6mo – 5th grade). That night, we are going to share Mercy’s strategy for taking the gospel to the ends of the world. We will also give you the chance to join us in our first steps we are taking to accomplish that strategy. We have 5 short term trips (7 to 10 days) we are taking both domestically and into areas around the world where we have strategic church planting partners. We want you one of these trips!
To learn where we are going, and to even reserve a spot on a trip, join us Monday April 11th for Missions Night!
