So That You May Believe

A Series in the Gospel of John

Join us as we explore the seven signs performed by Jesus recounted in the gospel of John. You may have heard these signs referred to as miracles, but while miracles display power, signs display power and contain a message for the observer. The central message in the gospel of John is, "these [signs] are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name" (John 20:30-31, CSB). In short, signs are good, but Jesus is better. Join us for this series and see how the message of these signs applies to you today!

Sign 6: Jesus Heals the Blind

by Spence Shelton

Pastor Spence continues in our series with the account of Jesus healing a blind man in John 9. This sign illustrates the transformation one experiences upon encountering Jesus and the power of personal testimonies in sharing the gospel. Pastor Spence urges us to share our own stories, remembering how Jesus has transformed our lives and sending us to share the gospel with others.
