Member Resources

We believe care and support are provided best through biblical community in community groups. These are the relationships we encourage you to pursue Christ with and receive care in. However, there are times we may need specialized, focused care for a particular season of life or struggle. Alongside community groups, we provide a number of resources to care for our members.

Member Care

We have care team members to walk alongside those who are experiencing a time of crisis. These members are available for hospital visitation, one-to-one care, prayer, or to walk alongside you during a difficult time. If you would like to receive some guidance regarding is available to you, contact us at 980-288-8239 or email

At this time, we do not offer in-house counseling at Mercy, but we do have a partnership with One12 Counseling. Through this partnership, we offer a subsidy to offset the cost, if needed, for our members. Complete the subsidy form and email Stephanie Vinciguerra at to set-up an appointment. Mercy recommends these counselors in the Charlotte area.

We offer premarital counseling for couples who are engaged and newly married. This program is designed to begin right after couples get engaged and consists of 6 to 8 sessions with a mentor couple to discuss key topics we believe are important for building a healthy marriage. Couples who wish to be married by a Mercy pastor are required to complete this program. At this time, we are near capacity and may be unable to pair couples with mentors within Mercy. We would still love to support you with premarital mentoring by connecting you with a counselor outside of Mercy. If you are interested, please fill out the form below and we will connect you to a mentor couple within Mercy or point you toward a counselor to contact. To get started, click here.

marriage officiant

If you would like to have a pastor from Mercy officiate your wedding, please email them directly. If you are unsure of their email address, you can find it here!

If you experience the loss of a loved one, we can help make arrangements for a funeral/memorial service. If you are in a community group, let your leader know about your loss. Contact the member care team at 980-288-8239 or email for next steps on arranging a pastor to lead a funeral or hosting a funeral at Mercy.
