Our love for others is a response to Christ’s love for us (the core of the Christian ethic) and an announcement to the world of our allegiance to Christ. Loving others out of Christ’s love for us is the path to true joy. J.O.Y. acronym – J: Jesus First, O: Others Second, Y: Yourself Last. Our prayer: “God I desire joy in you today. Help me see Jesus first, others second, and myself last.”
