Sermon Series

The Great Pursuit

From the very beginning, God has always been in relentless pursuit of you. If you know Him, you understand. His personal, intimate, and transformative pursuit of you has rewritten your story. God's pursuit of you changed everything. Where there was suffering, pain, and insecurity- there is now freedom, healing, and confidence. Once you were a rebel, an outcast. Now you are called son, or daughter. God’s pursuit of you revealed the depths of His love for you. But what if I told you His pursuit wasn’t meant to stop with you? What if God’s pursuit of you was also for the sake of others? And what if He is inviting you to join in this great pursuit for a greater purpose…His mission to reach the whole world with his love for them. This pursuit is not easy. It’s challenging, even daunting at times. It’s true. There are places on this earth where the name of Jesus is unknown. Places where people are born, live, and die without ever hearing of God’s great love for them. People who suffer as you once did, who feel pain and insecurity just like you did, without the hope of Christ. And God wants them the same way he wanted you. So, will you join Him in the great pursuit?
