Outdoor Service | 10 AM
We are currently holding an in-person, outdoor service at our Providence Road campus on Sunday mornings at 10 am. We would love for you to join us! If you plan to attend, please RSVP by Friday.
What should I expect?
We encourage you to bring your own chair or blanket to sit on (we have extras for those who don’t have any)! We ask that you maintain social distance between your family and others. We have tents and umbrellas to help with shade coverage if needed, as well as water bottles, hand sanitizer, and wristbands indicating your comfort level interacting with others. Please arrive a few minutes early to set up your seating area! Service will last around an hour and will include a time of worship, a message, and prayer.
What about masks?
Please bring your mask. If you need one, we have extras! We intend to follow the recommended guidelines of our state officials, which, when applied to Mercy Church are: when you are inside our facility (bathrooms), please wear a face covering, and when you are outside and unable to maintain social distance from those not in your family or group, wear a face covering.
What if I have children?
Our MercyKids environments are in the process of phased reopening. For those choosing to attend the main service as a family, we have age-appropriate KidsKits available at our MercyKids table near the First Time Guest tent. These kits will help your child engage with the main service content. Learn more about all of the options and resources available to you on our MercyKids page by clicking the button below!
Where do I park?
You are welcome to park at our Providence Road campus, however parking is limited. If you are comfortable sharing space in a vehicle, we ask that you consider carpooling with friends and family or taking a one-mile shuttle ride from our remote parking area to the church. Masks are required for the shuttle ride. Shuttles will be filled to 50% capacity and are sanitized between each pickup and drop-off. Additional details regarding offsite parking will be provided via email if you opt into parking remotely.
What if it rains?
Should inclement weather prohibit us from gathering outside, we will make the decision to cancel our in-person gathering early Sunday morning and will communicate it via email and text as well as on our social media channels and our website. In the case of inclement weather, we encourage you to attend Mercy Church online at mercycharlotte.com/stream at 10 am.
