Discovery Bible Group Training | Jul 18 & 25 

Join us after service this Sunday to learn how to read the Bible with anyone, anytime using a simple method called Discovery Bible Group! RSVP here.

Membership Class | July 25

If you’re interested in becoming a covenant member and have attended Starting Point, Membership Class is your next step! For the month of July, Membership Class will be held at our Providence Road campus at 12:30 pm. You will need to complete a Covenant Membership Profile to register for this class. 

Family Movie Night | July 30

Join us for a Family Movie Night on Friday evening inside our Providence Road campus from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. We will be watching Inside Out together and there will be snacks provided! Invite other families to join you! We hope to see you there!

Starting Point | Aug 1

Starting Point regularly takes place the first Sunday of each month and is a great first step to connect with the life and family of Mercy Church.  It is a 30-min informational session that will resource you with the basics of who we are as a church, how we seek to follow Jesus in our daily lives, as well as give you information about how to get involved with serving and community. Our time will conclude with a short Q&A. Reserve your spot at our next Starting Point here!

Mercy Families Promotion Sunday | Aug 15

Promotion Sunday is a day we celebrate our MercyKids and Mercy Students as they enter new stages – Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 6th grade, and 9th grade. Please fill out the RSVP form to indicate that your child/student will be present on Sunday, August 15 to participate in Promotion Sunday. This year the 6th and 9th-grade students will be commissioned in the service by our church body. Our Kindergarten and 3rd-grade students will receive age-appropriate Bibles in their MercyKids classrooms. 

 

Parent Commissioning | Sep 12

During Parent Commissioning, we come together to celebrate the fact that you want to raise your child up in a God-centered home! On the day of this celebration, we will bring you up on stage and pray for you as a church family, commissioning you as parents and committing to come alongside you as a church family as you raise your child to know and love Jesus! New Classes Coming Soon!

We offer quarterly classes and forums to provide practical training for gospel living. Past Equip topics include How to Share the Gospel, How to Read the Bible, Lunch & Learn, God & Politics, and more! See which classes are coming soon and review resources from classes that have already happened here!

 

New Community Group Leader Training | July 

If you are interested in becoming a Community Group leader, we will be having our next training on July 11, 18, and 25th! Attendance at all three is required. Email cori@mercycharlotte.com for more information or to reserve your spot!

GroupLink | January 31

Community groups are smaller gatherings of the people of Mercy Church, consisting of people of all ages. Groups are geographically based, organized according to where people live to help facilitate true ongoing community. Find a group at our next GroupLink which will be in-person after each service! Baptisms | Last Sunday of the Month

Baptism is an outward expression of the inward reality that you have been buried with Christ and raised to walk in the new life he gives you.  Being baptized shows others that you’ve decided to follow Jesus, and allows them to celebrate this decision with you. If you feel that the Lord is calling you to this step of obedience, we encourage you to sign up here.

Student Gatherings | Thursdays

Each Thursday, our Mercy Students meet together for a time of discipleship and fellowship. Mercy Students is open to rising sixth graders through high school seniors. To learn more about these weekly gatherings, click here!

Short Term Missions

We want to see a gospel awakening in the city of Charlotte that reaches the ends of the earth, and that means going to the ends of the earth with the gospel! Take a step into international missions by going on a short term trip. We have partners all over the world, and we want to send you.
