Parent Commissioning | March 13

Parent Commissioning is Mercy Church’s first opportunity to partner with parents as you build a strong foundation for your children – teaching them to love God, love each other, and love our world.  We will bring you up on stage and pray for you as a church family, commissioning you as parents and committing to come alongside you as a church family as you raise your child to know and love Jesus! Please note, Parent Commissioning is for member families. Sign up here!

New Community Group Leader Interest Meeting | May 1

Are you interested in becoming a community group leader at Mercy? If so, please stick around after any service at either campus on May 1 for a brief 15-20 minute informational session to learn more about becoming a group leader. You can also review group leader qualifications here!


PRIME Event | Aug 13

55+ years or older? This event is for you! Please join us for dinner and an evening of fellowship. During the August PRIME Gathering, you will learn about opportunities for mentoring and coming alongside college students and young families to encourage them in our church! GroupLink | Aug 21

Mercy community groups exist to become more like Jesus together through regular gathering, shared devotion, and sacrificial love. Stick around after any service at either campus on August 21 to meet our group leaders and see which group might be the best fit for you! Can’t make it in person? Disciple Making Team (DMTs) | Aug 31

Disciple-making teams focus on cross-cultural disciple-making and practical ways to engage in the Great Commission. You will meet for ten weeks, reading through the book Spiritual Multiplication in the Real World by Bob McNabb, praying together, and practicing evangelism around Charlotte. Fall Retreat | Sep 16-18

Join us Friday, September 16-18 for Mercy College’s annual Fall Retreat. Come with us to Black Mountain, NC and enjoy community, fun and learn more about God! Tickets are $40 each – register and submit payment here!

Equip: Bible Studies | Still Open!

If you’re new to Mercy and looking to meet other men or women to study scripture with, we recommend joining one of our fall Bible studies! Both Men’s and Women’s studies began the week of September 18, but there are still some spots available. Learn more about each study and see which groups have openings here!

Equip: Mission of God | Sep 20

Introductory class unpacking the Biblical basis for missions and the current state of the world. Fall, 6-weeks. Ready to learn? The next class will begin on September 20, 2022 and meet in the evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm. The last meeting will be October 25, 2022. RSVP here!

Mercy Students: Fall Retreat | Oct 14-16 

Mercy Students will be going on Fall Retreat this year! Join us October 14-16 at Ridgecrest Conference Center for a weekend of contending for the timeless truth of God’s Word. The Lydia Collection strives to build professional women into successful gospel messengers. Through mentorship, teaching, and community, our goal is to inspire women to more effectively utilize their God-given talents in their careers and impact the working world for the sake of the Gospel. Equip: Reconstructing Faith | Nov 5

Join us on Saturday, November 5th from 9 am-12 pm as we host Barnabas Piper for a conversation about the topic of faith reconstruction. Learn how to ask questions, explore doubt, and cultivate tools to think about your faith. If you find yourself going through this process, or you know people who are, we want to invite you to join us as we learn how we can ask these questions without losing our faith in Jesus, the scriptures, and the church. The cost to attend this event is $5. Deadline to register is November 3. Please register here!

Baptisms | Last Sunday of the Month

Baptism is an outward expression of the inward reality that you have been buried with Christ and raised to walk in the new life he gives you.  Being baptized shows others that you’ve decided to follow Jesus, and allows them to celebrate this decision with you. If you feel that the Lord is calling you to this step of obedience, we encourage you to sign up here.

Mercy’s 2-Year Bible Reading Plan

For the past year, Mercy has been walking through a Bible reading plan that allows you to read the Bible in its entirety. You can download the PDF version or pick up a physical copy to keep in your Bible in the lobby on Sunday. This plan is for all levels, whether you’re new to reading the Bible or have been studying scripture for years! Year 2, Quarter 3 is available now! Missed Year 1, find it here!

Mercy Residency

This program is for those who believe God is calling them into full-time ministry or church planting, as well as those who believe they will be involved in some form of Christian vocational work in the future. As a church, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to train men and women for Christian ministry and view it as a great privilege and responsibility. Short Term Missions
