Church Planting
Jesus spent his earthly years of ministry making disciples, ultimately preparing them to build his church. And since his last days on earth, Christ has used the church as his primary plan for reaching his prized creation – people. We believe, just as Christ modeled for us, that the best way to advance his kingdom and fulfill the great commission is by planting churches.
Mercy Church is the fruit of this very belief, planted to reach the city of Charlotte with the gospel by the Summit Church in Durham, North Carolina. And so we join other Summit Network churches in measuring success not by our seating capacity, but by our sending capacity. We would love for you to join us in supporting these partner churches by praying, giving financially, or going.
Proclamation Church is pastored by Derrick DeLain and launched April 2021. Proclamation Church exists to glorify God and make disciples of all people. They want to do this by proclaiming the love of Jesus so that people will follow Him, seek to be known by Him, and ultimately make Him known in Nashville and around the world.
