for kids

MercyKids is committed to partnering with families to raise disciples who love Jesus, love each other, and love our world. During the livestream, you can print the resource below for your kids to follow along during the sermon. For other parent resources, click here! Our Mercy Students bible studies are also operating differently during this season. For more information on how your student can get involved, email allan@mercycharlotte.com .

for members

We believe that care and support is provided best through biblical community in community groups. These are the relationships that we encourage you to pursue Christ with and receive the care that we all need daily. At the same time, there are times when we all need specialized, focused care for a particular season of life or struggle. We provide, alongside community groups, a number of resources to care for our church on our Member Care page.

Community Groups

Community groups are small gatherings of people of all ages. Each group meets one night per week for Bible study, prayer, and mutual encouragement. And, like any family, these groups also care for one another throughout the week. Even though our groups will be meeting virtually instead of in-person for the next few weeks due to COVID-19, we encourage you to go ahead and join a group!

discipleship

A tool to help you follow Jesus in your daily life. The center of the wheel is the gospel and the rim of the wheel is Christlikeness. Between the gospel and Christlikeness are three gospel disciplines that make us more like Jesus: devotion, community, and mission. Altogether, the wheel is a picture of a faithful disciple. A disciple becomes more like Jesus through devotion, community, and mission. You can use the wheel to guide your discipleship, evaluate your discipleship, and teach others how to follow Jesus.

serving our city

We want to serve our city well during this pandemic. Many of you have been asking how to help during this time. In addition to loving your neighbor, we recommend supporting the following ministries and organizations. Each of them represents different needs in our city – children, the homeless, impoverished, and others in vulnerable situations. Over the next eight weeks, we will update this page as needs arise.

sermons

We just finished a series on prayer called Pray20. You can listen to those sermons online now or stream any previous sermons from Mercy Church!

Worship

Listen to a playlist of the songs we sing on Sunday mornings, and keep up with Mercy Worship releases!

giving

We believe that generosity with one’s finances should flow out of and be a response to a heart changed by the gospel. We also believe that systematic, regular giving to God’s mission is a mark of someone growing as a follower of Jesus. Therefore, we want to do everything we can to help make your giving purposeful and consistent as a response to what Jesus has done in your life.
