Kate Terry

Kate is native to houston but made her way to austin, texas after graduating from Texas A&M. After attending and serving as a volunteer, Kate felt a clear call to leave the workplace and join The Austin Stone Community Church first as a resident and shortly after as full-time staff. Nearly ten years later, Kate is currently serving as the Director of Equipping and Women’s Ministry at the Downtown Congregation of the Austin Stone. She oversees content development and teaching environments that seek to see men and women spiritually formed towards further maturity and surrender to Jesus in all aspects of their lives. She is passionate about the church becoming a place where the sexually broken and hurting can feel safe to come, ask questions, and learn about God’s love for them. Kate spends her days working towards this, enjoying quality time with friends and sharpening her amateur pickleball skills.
