 membership class

If you’ve attended Starting Point and want to take the next step in becoming a covenant member, our Membership Class is for you. You’ll hear about our vision for discipleship and what it means to be a member at Mercy.  The next class will be at our Providence Road location at 12:30 pm on July 21st. Complete a covenant membership profile by July 17 to register.

We believe care and support are provided best through biblical community in community groups. These are the relationships we encourage you to pursue Christ with and receive care in. However, there are times we may need specialized, focused care for a particular season of life or struggle. Alongside community groups, we provide a number of resources to care for our members. They are listed below:
  • Counseling — We do not offer in house counseling at this time, but we do have a partnership with One12 Counseling. Through this partnership, we offer a subsidy to offset the cost, if needed, for our members. Email Stephanie Vinciguerra to set-up an appointment at stephanievinciguerra@one12counseling.com.
  • Premarital — At Mercy, we offer premarital counseling for couples who are seriously dating, engaged, and “just married.” This program is designed to begin right after couples get engaged and to continue for as long as necessary after they are married. Couples who wish to be married by a Mercy pastor are required to complete this program. Mercy Church places a great deal of importance on marriage, and we would love to be a part of helping you prepare for yours! • Member Care —We have care team members that have training to walk alongside any of our members who are experiencing a time of crisis. The Care Team are members that are available for hospital visitation, one-to-one care, prayer or just to walk along side you during a difficult time. If you would like to receive some guidance regarding what might be the best next step for you, contact us at 980-288-8239 or email membercare@mercycharlotte.com and we will contact you as quickly as possible.
  • Funeral/Memorial — If you experience the loss of a loved one, we can help you make arrangements for a funeral/memorial service. If you are in a community group, let your community group leader know about your loss. You can also contact the member care team at 980-288-8239 or email membercare@mercycharlotte.com and we will connect with you immediately for next steps on arranging a pastor to lead a funeral or for hosting a funeral at Mercy.
