MercyKids is committed to partnering with families to raise disciples who love Jesus, love each other, and love our world. Our desire is to build relationships with families and their children, and it is our hope that kids see the beauty of the gospel and choose to follow Christ with their whole lives.
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb, a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. (Psalm 127:3-4)
What To Expect
MercyKids welcomes children ages 6 months – 5th grade in every service. Each weekend, we seek to engage every child with the gospel. We do this with fun and age-appropriate activities that demonstrate what it means to love God, love each other and love our world. We use The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum to walk through Scripture in a way that shows kids that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but is one story of God’s love for us!
Our MercyKids check-in is located in the main lobby of our worship facility. When you arrive, you will be greeted by our Mercy Kids check-in team, who will help guide you through the check-in and drop-off process!
At MercyKids we do our best to love on, guide, and share the gospel with each of your kids, week-in and week-out. But we believe that we are only partners in shepherding your child’s heart. Our desire is to give you tools to have devotionals, conversations, and nights of worship at home so that you can be the main disciple makers.
If your child is old enough, encourage them to begin reading their own bible during your family devotions. This is a great way to get them involved. Our prayer is that the home would be a place of significant spiritual growth and joy for your children, and we want to partner with you in making this a reality.
We desire to partner with you as you raise your child to be a disciple of Christ and commission you as the primary disciple-makers in your family!
During Parent Commissioning, we come together to celebrate the fact that you want to raise your child up in a God-centered home! On the day of this celebration, we will bring you up on stage and pray for you as a church family, commissioning you as parents and committing to come alongside you as a church family as you raise your child to know and love Jesus!
