The vision of Mercy College is to grow students into disciples who make disciples through the local church and send them to all nations to the glory of God.
We are a relationship-based movement that focuses on training our students to see all of life through the lens of being a disciple and a disciple maker. We do this through relationships, with college staff and students that meet weekly around the Word, prayer, community, and leadership development.
Why College Students?
College students make up 1% of the population, and they may be the most strategic 1% in the world. College students are the next culture shapers in the U.S. and around the world. If we can reach the next generation of college students we can change the world for Christ. Our desire is to be a ministry that makes disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples… and send them all over the world for God’s glory.
What We Do
Mercy College students meet together regularly in various settings:
Discipleship Group. This time is designed to equip and encourage students to make disciples who make disciples. Discipleship groups meet once a week on campus in small groups to study God’s Word, pray, and push each other towards Christ.
Family Group. This is an informal environment for students to love one another and engage non-Christians with gospel centered community. Family groups also meet once a week on campus and are made up of discipleship group members.
Campus Meeting. Once a month, all Mercy College students gather together on campus for training in discipleship and prayer for gospel movement.
